Hi all,

I am coming from a small village named Valanchery. Valanchery is culturally and traditionally rich village located in Malappuram District, Kerala, India. This is a beautiful place surmount by hills and valleys.

National Highway 17 is passing through Valanchery. Calicut Airport and Cochin International airport are the nearest airports. The nearest railway station is at Kuttippuram, 8 km away.

Out of the entire population 90% got literacy with 25% having higher education.

On the search for new horizons 20% of men from Valanchery are now working overseas mostly in the Arabian Gulf Countries.
